We at Desert Biofuels Initiative are creating this wiki page in close relation to our Algae Demonstration Plant Project a comprehensive algae biofuels online database that will contain technical and market data about algae biofuels. Our goal is to create a resource that will particularly benefit community-based algae biofuels projects, in developed and developing countries.

We will begin our goal of populating this wiki page with content from Mark Edward’s book Green Algae Strategy and from public domain patents. There was significant research done in the 1970’s on algae biofuels that have patents that have since expired and become public domain.

For the time being we are keeping this wiki closed until we have populated it with data we deem necessary to our goal, but if you would like or have additional information to add please contact me (Greg) at greg@desertbiofuels.org.
